Questions, answered

How is “True ROAS” different from the ROAS Meta shows me?
Meta reports revenue it takes credit for, before any of your costs — so the number looks great. True ROAS AI attributes orders using your real Shopify data, then subtracts COGS, shipping, transaction fees, refunds and discounts to show the ROAS and net profit you actually keep.
Does it change or manage my ad campaigns?
No. True ROAS AI is analytics, not an ad manager. The Meta connection is read-only — it reads spend and creative data to attribute and analyze. It never launches, edits or pauses campaigns.
How does order attribution work?
Each order is matched to a campaign via UTM parameters, fbclid, landing page and referrer signals, and assigned a confidence score. Orders that can't be confidently attributed are surfaced (not hidden) so your numbers stay honest.
What Shopify data does it access?
Only what's needed to compute profit and attribution — orders, products, customers, inventory, fulfillments, shipping, locations, markets, discounts and returns, all read-only. Credentials are encrypted and the app follows least-privilege access scopes and GDPR compliance webhooks.
Can I see historical data?
Shopify's standard orders scope exposes the trailing 60 days. For a full historical backfill, the app supports Shopify's protected read_all_orders scope once your store is approved for it.
Which ad platforms are supported?
Meta Ads is live today. The app is built on a provider-agnostic architecture, so Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads can be added without changing the profit or attribution engines.
